Die Stiftung hat zum Zweck "Social Entrepreneurs" über eine begrenzte Zeitperiode zu beraten, so dass diese eine ökologisch, sozial und finanziell nachhaltige Geschäftsentwicklung eher verfolgen können. In ausgewählten Unternehmen von Social Entrepreneurs kann die Stiftung sich mit Kapital für eine beschränkte Laufzeit engagieren. Die Stiftung fokusiert sich auf Kleinunternehmen von Social Entrepreneurs an der Basis der Einkommenspyramide in Lateinamerika und in Schweizer Randregionen. Die Stiftung verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck und strebt keinen Gewinn an.
