Die Flugsportgruppe Zürcher-Oberland vereinigt an der Aviatik interessierte Personen im Zürcher Oberland und in angrenzenden Gebieten zur Ausübung und Förderung des Motor- und Segelfluges sowie des Motor- und Segelflugsportes in jeglicher Form. Sie erreicht ihren Zweck durch a) Betrieb eines oder mehrerer Flugfelder; b) Betrieb eines oder mehrerer Gruppenflugzeugen; c) Vereinsinterne Gruppenanlässe zur Förderung kameradschaftlicher Beziehungen und Publikationen zur Information ihrer Mtglieder; d) Veranstaltung von luftsportlichen Anlässen, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für die Aviatik oder Unterstützung und Beteiligung an solchen Veranstaltungen und Aktionen; e) Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Aviatikverbänden, Vereinen, Gruppen oder an der Luftfahrt interessierter Kreise.
