La fondation répond à toute demande d'aide concernant les jeunes filles et garçons âgés de 7 à 18 ans éprouvant des difficultés dans leur milieu familial. Elle dispense notamment les prestations suivantes: a) dans le cadre de l'Institut St-Germain proprement dit, elle offre aux jeunes domiciliés dans le canton du Jura un accueil personnalisé qui prend en compte leur environnement familial; l'institution se veut un espace de vie où l'on favorise le développement et l'épanouissement de l'enfant; son mandat se limite toutefois à l'intégration éducative en internat; l'accueil de jeunes d'autres cantons est envisageable; b) dans le cadre de l'Action Educative en Milieu Ouvert (AEMO), elle offre un soutien aux familles et jeunes domiciliés dans le canton du Jura; elle propose une aide éducative ambulatoire et temporaire; c) dans le cadre du Point Rencontre, elle met à disposition un lieu d'accueil destiné à l'exercice du droit de visite surveillée pour les familles et les jeunes domiciliés dans le Canton du Jura. La fondation ne poursuit aucun but lucratif. Le bénéfice et le capital sont irrévocablement et exclusivement affectés au but.
