Gli scopi della Fondazione sono: celebrazione, in perpetuo, di tre messe per ogni settimana in suffragio dell'anima del compianto Domenico Lanfranchini (il Parroco ha l'obbligo di celebrare "tre messe per cadauna settimana in perpetuo"); opere di beneficienza nel Comune di Vezia; esecuzione o partecipazione all'esecuzione di opere d'interesse generale per la comunità di Vezia. La Fondazione persegue obiettivi di pubblica utilità ad opera, pertanto, senza scopo di lucro.
