La Fondation a essentiellement pour but la gestion des fonds qui lui sont versés, puis leur utilisation dans le but de surveiller, entretenir et contrôler l'appareillage et les installations restants provenant des activités antérieures de la société Celtor SA (avec siège à Tavannes), de façon à répondre à tous les critères de sécurité et écologiques exigés par la législation cantonale ou fédérale répondant aux exigences du moment. La Fondation a un caractère d'utilité publique et ne poursuit aucun but lucratif.
