Der Zweck der Stiftung besteht darin, für den Schweizer Bauernverband (SBV) ein Verwaltungsgebäude, genannt "Haus des Schweizerbauern", zu errichten, zu unterhalten und allenfalls zu erweitern. Die Stiftung hat das Verwaltungsgebäude dem Schweizer Bauernverband und den von ihm bezeichneten Organisationen und Institutionen mietweise zu überlassen. Die Stiftung kann zu Gunsten des Schweizer Bauernverbandes (SBV) und von diesem bezeichneten landwirtschaftlichen Organisationen und Institutionen weitere Grundstücke und technische Anlagen erwerben, nutzen, sich daran beteiligen, bauen, ausbauen oder umbauen.
