Die Stiftung bezweckt allgemein die Förderung der Schüler, welche im ehemaligen Gemeindegebiet der Gemeinde Mollis zur Schule gehen sowie der Schulanlagen und dem Schulbetrieb in diesem Gebiet. Ebenso können Schüler, die im ehemaligen Gemeindegebiet der Gemeinde Mollis wohnhaft sind, gefördert werden. Es ist jedoch nicht Aufgabe der Stiftung, Kanton und Gemeinde von ihren gesetzlichen Verpflichtungen gegenüber der Schule zu entlasten. Der Stiftungsrat kann über die Verwendung der Stiftungsmittel ein Reglement erlassen.
