Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung von integrierter Bildung und Rehabilitation von behinderten Kindern und Jugendlichen und Unterstützung ihrer Eltern in Indien. Erste Priorität hat die Kiran Society mit dem Kiran Village in Madhopur/Varanasi U.P. Die Stiftung ist politisch und konfessionell neutral, verfolgt damit ausschliesslich gemeinnützige Zwecke, ist uneigennützig und auf keine Erwerbstätigkeit ausgerichtet. Über Art und Umfang der Stiftungsleistungen und die nähere Organisation beschliesst im Rahmen der Stiftungsurkunde der Stiftungsrat.
