Die Stiftung bezweckt die Unterstützung von finanziell in Not geratenen Mitarbeitenden der Lonza am Standort Visp sowie die Förderung von präventiven Massnahmen, um mögliche Not-, Konflikt- und Krisensituationen zu vermeiden. Die Leistungen der Stiftung haben grundsätzlich freiwilligen Charakter. Die Stiftung verfolgt keinen kommerziellen oder gewinnorientierten Zweck. Ist eine öffentlich-rechtliche Körperschaft gesetzlich verpflichtet, ähnliche Leistungen wie die Stiftung zu erbringen, so sind die Leistungen der Stiftung subsidiär.
