Zweck der Stiftung ist es, das künstlerische und ideelle Schaffen im Sinne des Stifters in der Gemeinde Ramsen, der Region Schaffhausen und darüber hinaus weiterzupflegen und die soziale Entwicklungsarbeit in Afrika, vor allem im Rahmen der katholischen Diözese Dapaong, Togo, zu unterstützen.
