Die Stiftung fördert eine ganzheitliche Auseinandersetzung mit den ökologischen, sozialen, kulturellen und wirtschaftlichen Aspekten der Beziehung des Menschen zu seinen natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen. Die Tätigkeiten der Stiftung konzentrieren sich auf nachhaltige Naturerfahrungen für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene als Grundlage für Naturbeziehung und -verständnis. Durch die Naturbegegnung und die Gewichtung sozialer Aspekte im Rahmen einer umweltpädagogischen Zielsetzung werden Impulse zur Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und zum bewussteren Verhalten gegenüber Mensch und Natur gesetzt. Die Stiftung verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke.
