Der Zweck der Stiftung besteht in der erweiterten Vorsorge zugunsten der Arbeitnehmer der Firma sowie deren Hinterbliebenen gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen von Alter, Invalidität und Tod. Der Zweck kann insbesondere erfüllt werden durch die Finanzierung von Zusatzverzinsungen der Alterskapitalien der Arbeitnehmer, die Finanzierung einer Aufstockung der Altersrente im Zeitpunkt der Pensionierung, die Finanzierung der Teuerungsanpassung von Alters-, Hinterlassenen- und Invalidenrenten. Die Stiftung kann darüber hinaus den Arbeitnehmern und ihren Hinterlassenen Unterstützung in Notlagen, wie bei Krankheit, Unfall, Invalidität und Arbeitslosigkeit, gewähren.
