Der Verein bezweckt die Unterstützung von Projekten und Institutionen, welche von ihren Zielsetzungen her einem der Grundsätze der Pfadfinderidee in einem besonderen Masse entsprechen. Insbesondere möchte der Verein im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten, durch Bereitstellen von attraktiven und preisgünstigen Verlagsprodukten, einen Beitrag zur Förderung der Jugendarbeit leisten. Durch das Verlegen von Singbüchern soll speziell das Singen gefördert werden. Der Vereinist nicht gewinnstrebig.
