Der Verein bezweckt die Linderung der sozialen Not in Rumänien. Er unterstützt insbesondere Organisationen mit ähnlicher Zielsetzung, wie den Verein FAMILIA REGASITA in Cluj-Napoca (Rumänien) und regionale Hilfsprojekte und Projekte zur Selbsthilfe mit sozialer Zielsetzung. Der Verein ist konfessionell und politisch unabhängig und setzt seine Mittel ausschliesslich für gemeinnützige Zwecke ein und verfolgt keinerlei Gewinnabsichten.
