Die Stiftung fördert die humanitäre Hilfe und den Kampf gegen die Armut vorwiegend in Entwicklungsländern. Sie soll dazu beitragen, dass die Bevölkerung in diesen Ländern die Entwicklung aus eigener Kraft vorantreibt und dass die Lebensqualität von Familien und der Gemeinschaft dauerhaft verbessert werden. Beiträge erfolgen unter anderem mittels eigener Projekte hinsichtlich der Schaffung des Zugangs zu sicherem Trinkwasser und der nachhaltigen Energieversorgung.
