Die Tätigkeit der Genossenschaft ist gemeinnützig im Sinne von Art. 4 Abs. 3 des Wohnbauförderungsgesetzes und nicht gewinnstrebig. Ihre Bauten sind jeder spekulativen Verwendung dauernd zu entziehen. Die Genossenschaft verfolgt den Zweck, in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe und Mitverantwortung ihren Mitgliedern gesunden und preisgünstigen Wohnraum zu verschaffen und zu erhalten. Die Genossenschaft kann Grundstücke erwerben oder im Baurecht übernehmen sowie Wohnhäuser oder Wohnungen erstellen oder erwerben.
